Since her devil fruit stops her from growing, it stopped everything. Her hair/nails don’t grow, she can’t get sick, she doesn’t need to eat or drink anything (when she does it still goes through the digestive process tho). She could basically live forever unless she’s physically harmed, then she wouldn’t heal. But her brain also stopped growing/changing. Shes still mentally 10. She’s traumatized a bit from her life before Doflamingo found her and Monet, and it’s never lessened or worsened since she ate her fruit. (Things can affect her like the long nose fear, but it doesn’t ever stick for long)

Adding on to the brain thing, her memory is all messed up too. She can remember up until like a year back and then nothing until right before she ate the fruit. Basically, memories don’t stick since she ate the fruit, but she can still pretty vividly remember from before eating the fruit

She had an injury right on her left eye from her life before Doflamingo. It caused the eye to be very sensitive to light, and wears the monocle so it filters that out and she isn’t constantly blinded in one eye. Also, the scar there never goes away.

She can turn herself into a toy if she wants to but it takes up a ton of energy. People forget she exists but she still remembers. Sometimes she would do it to play pranks but after Dressrosa arc she used it to hide from Marines.

She kinda resented Doflamingo before just a bit for making her eat that fruit when she was so young but he saved her and Monet so she didn’t really care too much

After the straw hats leave, the Doflamingo pirates are at the mercy of the marines. Being the unstable family it is, everyone goes every man for themselves. Sugar hides as a toy but everyone else gets caught.

She plots for a while about taking over Dressrosa again. She sneaks into the castle (as a toy cat) one fateful day to enact this plan she had. She sees Riku + co going over the Doflamingo Pirates’ logs before heading out for the Reverie. They mention a log from Punk Hazard, that Vergo and Monet were reported dead/killed. They see a note from Doflamingo that said to keep it secret from Sugar, since she didn’t need to be distracted when he knew the Strawhats would soon be arriving.

She was shocked, and didn’t believe it, but she knew how accurate the logs were to be kept. She ends up skittering out since she was freaking out a little

She still doesn’t believe it, and decides to go to Punk Hazard herself to find out if what was in the logs were true. She decides to leave on a random ship someday and turn everyone into toys to take her to Punk Hazard. After the royals are gone, the Germ Pirates show up and start causing a ruckus. She thinks she’ll leave with them.

She makes a move to go to the port but hears gunfire and notices another crew is wiping out the Germs. She recognizes them as the Firetanks. When the Doffamily was still in power, she would sometimes read the newspapers and the feats of the new generation. She liked the Firetanks the most since they were so ruthless, especially the captain, Capone Bege.

She sees Bege and Vito getting overwhelmed by kissy-infected people so she goes to help and turns the infected into toys, but Bege recognizes her and is like “Nope, not messing with this psycho kid,” and runs off with Vito to find everyone else. Sugar follows anyway. Everyone meets up together again but Marines are on their tail, so they run off to the port for their ship. Sugar gets spooked by some marine with a long nose and runs with the FTs

The thing with Pound happens, Sugar sneaks on board their boat. After the celebrations with Lola and Gotti, Bege finds Sugar sneaking some food. He about throws her off the ship but she pleads with him and promises that she won’t toy him or the crew. Dad Bege kicks in, he can’t possibly throw some child of the boat. He lets her stay but they put gloves with locked sea prism bracelets on her
